Purple Reign PR are extremely proud to announce their representation of
The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust

Purple Reign PR today officially announces the representation of The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, its sub brands and initiatives.

Since its formation in 1998, The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust has been committed to supporting young people from diverse, disadvantaged backgrounds to help them to break the social and economic barriers that stood between them and a career in architecture and urban design, Stephen’s chosen career. Since then the Trust has awarded nearly 100 bursaries.  In 2008 with the help of Public funding the magnificent Stephen Lawrence Centre in Deptford SE8 was officially opened as a Centre of Excellence for Architecture and Design and the wider built environment.

SLIK Magazine
SLIK magazine is the flagship publication and voice of The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. The first edition was recently launched and is packed with entertaining, insightful, informative and inspiring articles.  An educated and enjoyable read with contributions and interviews from the likes of Channel 4 News Presenter and Trust Patron - Jon Snow, Actor Ashley Walters, Poet and Play Write Dean Atta, Pauline Pearce – Hackney Heroine and many more!

The 1818 Campaign
The Stephen Lawrence 18:18 Access & Opportunity Fund was conceived to coincide with the 18th anniversary of Stephen’s death, Stephen, who was 18 when he died. Its goal is to have as much impact in the realm of social justice as the Lawrence case has had on the criminal justice system. It is a fund that will underwrite a range of new personal learning and development programmes jointly titled “Ready, Steady, Grow”. "A Dreamer's Dream" starring Tyrese Gibson, Blair Underwood & Jill Scott from Voltron Recordz on Vimeo.

Nearly a week left in Black History Month, R&B Star and occasional motivational speaker Tyrese has produced an eye opening video that he directed and released himself. The 13-minute visual features actor Blair Underwood speaking with Martin Luther King Jr. (played by Tyrese) and Coretta Scott King (played by Jill Scott). “Dr. King” touches on various topics and issues currently facing America and provides insight and advice on how to move forward.
